Boy George, Culture Club era, inspired the Japanese printed kimonos of the Jean Paul Gaultier Spring/Summer 2013 Show.
Some Boy George’s collaborations or Boy George-inspired items : B-Rude Spring/Summer 2007 (Boy George’s own catwalk show), DKNY Spring/Summer 2000 (Boy George Djed the background music of this show), Etam Spring/Summer 2011 (Boy George performed on the catwalk during the presentation of this collection), Heatherette Spring/Summer 2005 (Boy George created an original soundtrack for this show), Jean Paul Gaultier (in 2006, Boy George Djed old tunes for Jean Paul Gaultier’s fashion house 30th anniversary party, at Paris’ Olympia), Joseph (in the ’80s, a show for Joseph Ettedgui’s brand, styled by Michael Roberts, featured Boy George and models, all dressed up as Tina Turner), Yazbukey (« Boy George » Plexiglas necklace, circa 2011).
Moreover, at the launch of her reality TV show, « The Face », in January 2013, Naomi Campbell confessed that she 1st realized she looked « okay » when, as a huge Culture Club fan, she dressed as Boy George, with the hat and the braids.
