The Rodarte Spring/Summer 2010 Show, « Condor », paid homage to the California Condor, Death Valley and the Californian female skateboarders.

Other California-influenced collections : Acne by Jonny Johansson Spring/Summer 2011 (inspired in part by the Californian Coast’s surfers), Anna Sui Autumn/Winter 1995-1996 (« California Dreaming » collection), Celine by Ivana Omazic Resort 2005 (« Hollywood Resort » collection, inspired in part by Beverly Hills’ actresses), Christophe Lemaire Spring/Summer 2009 (« Sounds from L.A. » T-shirts line, paying tribute to Californian musicians and record labels such as Human Ear Music, Softboiled Eggies, and Stones Throw Records), Derek Lam Spring/Summer 2011, Emanuel Ungaro by Giambattista Valli Spring/Summer 2004 (partly inspired by Giambattista Valli’s trip to Los Angeles), Guilty Brotherhood Spring/Summer 2010, Isabel Marant Spring/Summer 2011 (some looks evoked a rock groupie seducing Californian boys), Newman Spring/Summer 2007, Rodarte Spring/Summer 2011 (collection inspired by North California and by Kate and Laura Mulleavy’s childhood), RVCA X Erin Wasson 2009-2010 (collection mixing Los Angeles’ street beach culture and New York’s style), U Clothing Spring/Summer 2010, Van Cleef & Arpels Autumn/Winter 2009-2010 (« California Reverie » jewelry line), vanessabruno Spring/Summer 2011, Wren by Melissa Cocker Spring/Summer 2008 (collection based on mythical ’60s and ’70s Californian heroines).
