The Campbell’s Soup cans inspired one silk organza dress (painted by Eliakim) in the « Homage to Andy Warhol » finale of the Jean-Charles de Castelbajac Spring/Summer 1984 Show.
Other Campbell’s Soup-inspired items : Andy Warhol (Andy Warhol printed a « Campbell’s Soup Can » motif on a cotton T-shirt, for an exhibition at Colorado State University, in 1980, and produced T-shirts with silkscreened « Campbell’s Soup Can » motifs, which are archived at The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, and which are photographed on page 13 of « The Warhol Look : Glamour, Style, Fashion » catalogue, published by The Andy Warhol Museum and Bulfinch Press, Little Brown and Company, in 1998, to coincide with the eponymous exhibition, presented at New York’s Whitney Museum of American Art, from November 8, 1997 until January 18, 1998, and Pittsburgh’s Andy Warhol Museum, from August 4 until October 3, 1999 ; furthermore, an anonymous paper and cellulose dress with a « Campbell’s Soup can » motif, named « The Souper Dress », made circa 1968, is also archived at Andy Warhol Museum, and photographed on page 6 of the same catalogue).
