Andy and Larry Wachowski’s « The Matrix » influenced the knitted pieces of the Rory Longdon Graduate Fashion Show, presented on June 8, 2011.

Other « The Matrix »-style collections or items : Alexander Wang Autumn/Winter 2012-2013 (the leather coats evoked « The Matrix »), Belstaff Autumn/Winter 2008-2009 (« The Matrix »-y leather jacket), Costume National Autumn/Winter 2008-2009 (« The Matrix »-esque coats), Costume National Autumn/Winter 2012-2013 (the atmosphere of this collection, named « New Wave – No Wave – Dark Wave », was sometimes reminiscent of « The Matrix »), Dsquared² Autumn/Winter 2010-2011 (« The Matrix »-esque black dresses), Elie Tahari Resort 2011 (« The Matrix »-y handquilted jackets), Jean Paul Gaultier Autumn/Winter 2011-2012 Menswear (the Alain Mikli-designed glasses looked like something out of « The Matrix »), Jean-Pierre Braganza Autumn/Winter 2012-2013 (« The Matrix »-style knits), Jil Sander by Raf Simons Autumn/Winter 2012-2013 Menswear (« The Matrix »-style belted coats), L’Wren Scott (some L’Wren Scott-designed pieces are inspired by « The Matrix »), Véronique Leroy Autumn/Winter 2011-2012 (« The Matrix»-style shearling), Versace Autumn/Winter 2010-2011 Menswear (the glasses and the leather pieces echoed « The Matrix »), Vivienne Tam Autumn/Winter 2001-2002 (« The Matrix » was evoked in this collection named « East West Techno Fantasy »).

Furthermore, in 2003, Ozwald Boateng was commissioned to dress all « The Matrix Reloaded »’s male actors for all the premieres of the Andy and Larry Wachowski-directed movie.
