JPG AW1213 CésarThe skirt made with pieces of leather jackets in the Jean Paul Gaultier Autumn/Winter 2012-2013 Show referenced César’s compressions.

Other César-inspired item or César’s collaboration : Emanuel Ungaro (in 1991, he designed a bridal dress inspired by César’s sculpture), Louis Vuitton (in 1988, César created the « Mixed Prints / Impressions mêlées » silk scarf, with an « undulated sheet metal » motif for Louis Vuitton).

Moreover, in 1982, César designed with Sonia Rykiel the bar de l’Obélisque of the Hôtel de Crillon, in Paris, and, from December 7, 1997 until March 8, 1998, an Alaïa-designed dress was displayed near César’s « Fragonard » compression, during the « Alaïa » exhibition, at the Groninger Museum.
