Christo is one of the inspirations of Satu Maaranen’s collection, « Garment in Landscape », which won the Grand Prix Première Vision at the 28th Hyères International Fashion and Photography Festival, on April, 29, 2013.

Other Christo-influenced collections : Jean Paul Gaultier Autumn/Winter 2002-2003 (this show, dubbed « Christo Effect / Effet Christo », was inspired by Christo’s wrapping works), Jil Sander by Raf Simons Spring/Summer 2010 (videos of works by artists such as Christo were projected on screens), Marios Schwab Spring/Summer 2009 (inspired in part by Christo’s wrappings), Nicole Farhi Spring/Summer 2011 (Christo’s « revelation through concealment », according to the designer, influenced dresses with digital motifs, that were darkened by a veil), Tess Giberson Autumn/Winter 2012-2013 (this collection was based on Christo’s early wrappings).

Furthermore, in 1967, Christo and Jeanne-Claude created a wrapped bridal dress, dubbed the «Wedding Dress».
