Gaia, the Goddess of Earth, in ancient Greek religion, was the muse of the Alexander McQueen by Sarah Burton Spring/Summer 2012 Show.
Other Gaia-influenced collections : Vivienne Westwood Spring/Summer 2010 (this collection was named « Planet Gaia » to reference the theme of a self-regulating planet), Vivienne Westwood Red Label Autumn/Winter 2010-2011 (this collection featured a « Loyalty 2 Gaia » slogan on a T-shirt).

No !!! Oh, it’s such a great sign that I chose this piece (my 1st choice was a black dress but I thought that it was too sad !). Thank you so much for this, my dear friend ! A big warm orange hug from me too !!!

I would love to see this in an ombre color arrangement – from white at the top to light blues and then very dark blue at the bottom of the skirt! =)
