To Catch a Thief

21 May

Dior Resort 14

The Stephen Jones-styled silk scarves in the Dior by Raf Simons Resort 2014 Show, presented on May 18, 2013, in Monaco, referenced Grace Kelly in Alfred Hitchcock’s « To Catch a Thief ».

Furthermore, the Mario Testino-shot Salvatore Ferragamo Spring/Summer 2010 ad campaign, which starred Claudia Schiffer as Grace Kelly, was based on « To Catch a Thief », and one of the 3 « Grace Kelly » Barbies, launched in August 2011, as part of the « Barbie Collector Series », wore a replica of the Edith Head-designed blue dress that Grace Kelly wore in « To Catch a Thief ».

To catch a thief– is my personal fav cary grant movie and may be that is because grace kelly is in it. Any thing Grace has done is alright with me. But my personal heartthrob from the era is Sophia Loren and always will be. She has more passion in her little finger than most do in their whole self. Just my opinion.
