Latin America

25 Jun

Vionnet Resort 14Latin America slightly inspired the Vionnet by Goga Ashkenazi Resort 2014 Collection.

Other Latin America-influenced collections : Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci Autumn/Winter 2008-2009 (the gothic, romantic and sensual silhouettes of this show paid tribute to Latin America), Roberto Cavalli Autumn/Winter 2008-2009 (the embroideries, floral patterns and prints of this show were inspired by Latin America), Yves Saint Laurent Couture Spring/Summer 1978 (this collection, titled « Broadway Suit », partly paid homage to the Latin American style).

Thanks ! I love it too : flowers are so trendy that even the models at Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2014 Menswear Show, yesterday in Milan, were sporting fabulous floral suits !
