Star Trek

The Blonds SS14

« Tweety meets Star Trek » was the theme of The Blonds Spring/Summer 2014 Show.

Other « Star Trek »-inspired collections : Matthew Williamson Spring/Summer 2005 (before designing this collection, to capture the ’70s idea of a futuristic woman, Matthew Williamson watched science fiction films, including « Star Trek »), Pierre Cardin (the science fiction-influenced « Cosmocorps » line that Pierre Cardin launched in the ’60s partly drew inspiration from « Star Trek »).

Moreover, in 2003, Sophia Kokosalaki confessed that the « Star Trek » costumes had a huge impact on her.

To read about « Tweety »-inspired collections, search for the « Tweety » post that I published on August 23, 2013.

Tweety, feathers, fishnets, and thigh-high boots, oh my! Not sure about wearing this out and about but it would definiltely make for a great costume. Love the bun.
