Tsumori Chisato Pre-Fall 14

The Tsumori Chisato Pre-Fall 2014 Collection is based on a trip to Prague.

Another Prague-inspired collection : Meadham Kirchhoff Spring/Summer 2014 Menswear (before the presentation of this collection, a film celebrating young people taking physical action against the tyranny of Communist oppression in Prague, Budapest and Berlin, was projected).

Oooo! I had to give this one a really close look to see the amazing animal detail. I’m loving everything about this- the print, the colors, the subtle animal, and the caftan-like shape. Truly lovely- it’s a work of art!

Thank you !! A few weeks ago, I read in French “ELLE” that the coolest animal in fashion for 2014 would be the fox, and I guess that this incredible dress is the best example of this “fox” supremacy ! XXX

I was well excited, when I saw the title of the post and when I looked at it , I thought… what? a fox? I would like to know, where in Prague took the designer inspiration from, since I come from there. I tried to check out the website, but the page is not supported with my mac system. The only thing I can think of is famous opera Liska Bystrouska (Fox Bystrouska) by Leos Janacek or us loving the hunting.

According to, Tsumori Chisato started to sketch what she saw in Prague, maybe that it was this opera, maybe that it was a fur “fox” scarf instead of a real fox, who knows ?
