Ulyana Sergeenko Couture SS14

The Ulyana Sergeenko Couture Spring/Summer 2014 Show was influenced by an imaginary train journey, which ended in a boudoir, to various destinations such as Kazakhstan.

Other Kazakhstan-inspired items : Peter Jensen Spring/Summer 2012 (the twinset in this collection was based on a carpet from a hotel in Kazakhstan), Pollini by Rifat Ozbek Autumn/Winter 2005-2006 (for this show, Philip Treacy created headpieces that were inspired by Kazakhstan tribesmen’s hats).

What a wonderful basis for a Collection. Loving the extra material on the hips – makes the waist look so tiny..but then again, it probably is!! xxx

Couture models are so thin ! It’s true that the sumptuous fabric on the hips makes her already-gorgeous silhouette even more elongated ! xxxxx

Merci beaucoup ! Si je pouvais, je te l’offrirais pour célébrer la naissance de ton nouveau blog, car le superbe graphisme de ce dernier irait bien avec les couleurs de cette magnifique robe ! ❤

Gorgeous. The deep, rich red and the elegant blue detailing. The sumptuous and decadent fabric. A beautiful fantasy train trip to carry my day. XO
