Budweiser®

Moschino AW1415 Budweiser®

Budweiser® has influenced one dress in the Moschino by Jeremy Scott Autumn/Winter 2014-2015 Collection.

Other Budweiser®-inspired looks : Dsquared² Spring/Summer 2010 (some models of this camping-themed show carried Budweiser® 40oz bottles), Moschino by Bill Shapiro and Rossella Jardini Spring/Summer 2013 Menswear (this show, which, as an homage to Andy Warhol, paid tribute to the graphic power of the supermarket, featured a pattern which was based on the Budweiser® logo).

Good Lord, I never went and looked at the whole Moschino 2014-2015 collection….did Jeremy Scott hit every American brand?

Haha, almost ! I really love how, with this magnificent “wear responsibly” gown, he has also paid tribute to the designers of Moschino’s Spring/Summer 2013 Menswear collection, by doing his own interpretation of Budweiser® ! XO

I think of Budweiser as a brand of beer you drink in College because it is cheap…..not something I associate with expensive fashion. Maybe that is the point. 🙂
Budweiser does have a great history of fun commercials

THX ! You’re surely right about Jeremy Scott’s point ! It must be so thrilling for him to associate cheap junk food with high fashion ! This is so Pop Fashion ! XO

Although the 2nd and 3rd chapters of this funtastic show were wonderful tributes to street bling and SpongeBob SquarePants !

I didn’t like the collection… Jeremy doesn’t match the Italian humour!

Never been a fan of Budweiser but always loved their 70’s jingle, “this Bud’s for you!”
but now…lol…all I can hear in my head is a small, “bold” voice emphatically saying…
“Now THIS Bud, THIS Bud’s for you!!”~ xo

You see, that’s the unstoppable power of great fashion : in a single – but very peculiar – look, it can bring back happy advertising memories ! Cheers !!! XO
