Tropical fruits

Stella Jean SS14

Several motifs of the Stella Jean Spring/Summer 2014 Collection were inspired by tropical fruits.

Other tropical fruits-influenced collections : Clover Canyon Resort 2014 (this collection, which paid homage to Cuba, featured prints which depicted tropical fruits), Stephen Burrows Spring/Summer 2004 (the vibrant color palette of this show was partly based on tropical fruits).

Haha thanks, this is definitely a Carmen Miranda moment ! You’re so right to mention this Portuguese / Brazilian icon as a subtle homage to World Cup 2014 ! XO

Always kind of feels like with summer you can be a bit braver with prints and really push the boundaries.
