Other Argentina-inspired collections : Hermès by Christophe Lemaire Autumn/Winter 2012-2013 (the Argentinian gauchos influenced several looks of this show), Jean Paul Gaultier Spring/Summer 1998 (this « Homage to Frida Kahlo »-themed collection paid tribute to the Mexican painter and the South American elegance, from Cuba to Argentina), Kenzo by Antonio Marras Autumn/Winter 2007-2008 (the red and black palette of this show paid homage to Argentina’s traditional tango), Loquita by Sara Rotman Autumn/Winter 2010-2011 (this line of scarves was based on the Argentinian gauchos’ ponchos), Opening Ceremony by Humberto Leon and Carol Lim Spring/Summer 2012 (in part), Opening Ceremony by Humberto Leon and Carol Lim Autumn/Winter 2012-2013 (partly, especially via gaucho pants), Requiem Spring/Summer 2010 (Raffaele Borriello drew inspiration from the elegance of the women he met at a party in Buenos Aires, Argentina).
