Other boxing-inspired collections : Alexander McQueen Autumn/Winter 2009-2010 (partly), Givenchy by Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2000 (this collection featured some boxing influences), Jean-Charles de Castelbajac (the 3rd collection of Jean-Charles de Castelbajac’s sports-inspired trilogy, which started in 2001, was dedicated to boxing and presented by real boxers ; furthermore, his Spring/Summer 2008 collection, called « Sportacus », featured a dress that paid homage to Muhammad Ali), Jean Paul Gaultier Autumn/Winter 2010-2011 Menswear (this show took place on a boxing ring ; boxing was also one of the themes of the Pataugas by Jean Paul Gaultier Autumn/Winter 2010-2011 footwear collection ; furthermore, in 1988, Jean Paul Gaultier designed the costumes of Régine Chopinot’s boxing-inspired ballet, « K.O.K. »), John Galliano Spring/Summer 1995 (the invitation card for this collection echoed a vintage poster for a boxing match).
Moreover, Muhammad Ali starred in Louis Vuitton’s « Core Values » campaign, which was unveiled on June 15, 2012.
