Other Polynesia-inspired collections : Céline by Ivana Omazic Spring/Summer 2009 (the motifs of this show were based on Polynesian tattoos), Christian Dior by John Galliano Spring/Summer 2011 (the Polynesian heroines of this show sported evening gowns in a color palette which was inspired by Paul Gauguin), Dsquared² Spring/Summer 2014 (according to Dean and Dan Caten, the set for this show was a « Polynesian paradise »), Jean Paul Gaultier Spring/Summer 2000 Menswear (titled « Gauguin en goguette », this collection was based on the French Polynesia painted by Paul Gauguin), Monique Péan Spring/Summer 2011 (this jewelry line was influenced by the creamy colors of the paintings that Paul Gauguin made in French Polynesia).
