Mareva Galanter

One dress in the Jean-Charles de Castelbajac Spring/Summer 2010 Show paid tribute to the Sofia Sanchez & Mauro Mongiello-shot portrait of Mareva Galanter, which featured in the booklet of her « Ukuyéyé by Mareva » album.

Some Mareva Galanter’s collaborations : Jean-Charles de Castelbajac (Mareva Galanter, who has been Jean-Charles de Castelbajac’s partner, from 2002 to 2012, collaborated several times with the designer, including when she portrayed Hello Kitty in the Jean-Charles de Castelbajac-directed « Hotel Kittyfornia » film, to celebrate Hello Kitty’s 30^th birthday ; Jean-Charles de Castelbajac wrote songs for Mareva Galanter’s « Ukuyéyé by Mareva » and « Happy Fiu » albums, respectively in 2006 and 2008, and, among other projects, designed the scenography and the costumes of Mareva Galanter’s « Dawn of Innocence » show with Nouvelle Vague, in 2012.
