Republica

Versus Versace X Anthony Vaccarello SS15

Donatella Versace’s positively happy memories of Versus’s ’90s New York shows, with bands such as Republica (in 1997, the English technopop punk rock band played while the models walked down the catwalk), inspired the Versus Versace X Anthony Vaccarello Spring/Summer 2015 Collection.

Renato Zero

Givenchy Couture SS10

The Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci Couture Spring/Summer 2010 Show was influenced by Renato Zero’s glam-rock outfits, mixed with Helmut Newton and Guy Bourdin’s erotic photographs.

To read about other Helmut Newton and Guy Bourdin-inspired collections, search for the « Helmut Newton » and « Guy Bourdin » posts that I have published on September 13, 2012 and on February 4, 2013, respectively.
