Erin Fetherston Resort 14

David Hamilton’s work influenced the Erin Fetherston Resort 2014 Collection.

Other David Hamilton-inspired collections : BCBG Max Azria Spring/Summer 2011 (the ponytails of this show, by Moodie, paid homage to untouched hair in David Hamilton’s photographs), Calvin Klein Collection by Francisco Costa Spring/Summer 2011 (the moodboard of this collection featured David Hamilton’s images), Givenchy by Julien Macdonald Spring/Summer 2004 (this collection was based on David Hamilton’s photographic style), Nina Ricci by Peter Copping Autumn/Winter 2013-2014 (this show was inspired by the ’70s ad campaigns, featuring images of dancers, that David Hamilton shot for the brand), Roberto Cavalli Spring/Summer 2008 (the starting point of this collection was David Hamilton’s work), Sue Stemp Spring/Summer 2009 (partly based on David Hamilton’s gauzy photographs), Tara Jarmon (at the beginning of the 2000s, Tara Jarmon’s artistic inspirations included David Hamilton’s photographs), Valentino by Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli Spring/Summer 2011 (the hairstyle of this show, by Guido Palau, featured David Hamilton-style braids).

I love how ethereal is combined with seductive. Nice juxtaposition.
