Some candy-inspired collections : Craig Lawrence Spring/Summer 2009 (this collection was dubbed « Cocktails & Sweets »), Douglas Hannant Spring/Summer 2011 (candy, especially Jelly beans which influenced the color palette, was the theme of this collection).
Moreover, candy also inspired the caramel-accord « Candy » fragrance, launched by Prada in August 2011.

Christo is one of the inspirations of Satu Maaranen’s collection, « Garment in Landscape », which won the Grand Prix Première Vision at the 28th Hyères International Fashion and Photography Festival, on April, 29, 2013.
Other Christo-influenced collections : Jean Paul Gaultier Autumn/Winter 2002-2003 (this show, dubbed « Christo Effect / Effet Christo », was inspired by Christo’s wrapping works), Jil Sander by Raf Simons Spring/Summer 2010 (videos of works by artists such as Christo were projected on screens), Marios Schwab Spring/Summer 2009 (inspired in part by Christo’s wrappings), Nicole Farhi Spring/Summer 2011 (Christo’s « revelation through concealment », according to the designer, influenced dresses with digital motifs, that were darkened by a veil), Tess Giberson Autumn/Winter 2012-2013 (this collection was based on Christo’s early wrappings).
Furthermore, in 1967, Christo and Jeanne-Claude created a wrapped bridal dress, dubbed the «Wedding Dress».

The Maxime Simoëns Couture Spring/Summer 2011 Show, « This, Madame, is Versailles », was a rock’ n’ roll and glamorous take on Sofia Coppola’s « Marie-Antoinette ».
Furthermore, Jessie Randall took inspiration from the colors and Kirsten Dunst’s costumes in Sofia Coppola’s « Marie-Antoinette » for some Loeffler Randall’s accessories.
