Alice in Wonderland

Versace SS10

The idea of fantasyland in Tim Burton’s « Alice in Wonderland » inspired the Versace Spring/Summer 2010 Show.

Moreover, to celebrate the release of Tim Burton’s « Alice in Wonderland », in March 2010, Stella McCartney and Tom Binns launched « Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland »-inspired accessories lines, and several designers (such as Alexander McQueen, Ann Demeulemeester, Bernhard Willhelm, Charles Anastase, Hannah MacGibbon for Chloé, Christopher Kane, Haider Ackermann, Maison Martin Margiela, Manish Arora and Nicholas Kirkwood) revisited Alice’s dress and shoes for the « Alice in Wonderland »-themed windows of the Printemps Haussmann, in Paris, displayed from February 1st until March 13, 2010.

To read about « Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland »-inspired collections, search for the « Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland » post that I published on June 25, 2012.
